Good and Evil

Hey guys and girls, I''ve gotta challenge for you. I''m trying to gather up a list of as many notable good and evil (supernatural/legendary) characters throughout history (eg. Gabriel, King Arthur, Grim Reaper, The Horsemen of the Apocolypse, etc) and I''d appreciate any help you might give. Please try and stick to mythological characters, and stray away from Sepherioth-like personas (translation: no game characters). Toss ''em at me. After I get a good list jotted down, I''d be happy to put it in .doc format and distribute it. So start throwin'' them at me.

I''ve seen lists like this before. I don''t recall where. Check the security web sites as they usually have lists of names that they use for password checking and the like.
This is an...interesting...idea, but incredibly Herculean (pun intended).
I mean, think of all the possible places you''d pull from: folklore (Colonial American, Native/Indigenous tribes, European, African, South American...), mythology (Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Incan, Aztec, Asian...), religion (Hebrew-Judeo-Christian, Buddhist)

Wow, but how are you going to easily classify them?
Take Gilgamesh and Enkidu, perhaps the oldest fictional characters every written about. Is Gilgamesh evil or good?
And Lancelot? Sure, he did a lot of good stuff, but, depending on the particular story, he''s most famous for something that brought down Camelot.

Hmm. This unfortunately can be a very subjective topic (for example, is the Spectre of Death necessarily evil? A natural force? A good thing?). I''ll leave any determination of good or evil as an excercise to the reader.
