story/idea for online multiplayer web game

I want to write an online multiplayer web game. I''m thinking of the utopia like, where things are updated in the background on a schedule, like every hour.
The problem is that I''m completly dry on idea what the game should be about.
I''m pretty open to anything, as I''m pretty lost what it should be about

Saw you posting on GameDev.Net and wanted to know if you got any replies as yet? I have a good gaming idea and need another programmer to help me realize it. I have programmed in VB and Java but now code in Delphi.

If it''s a webgame, maybe something with someone first beeing a child learning things then growing up and then for example joining an baseball club (in the club there are other players), or maybe getting a girlfriend(the gf another player) yeah you probably get the idea. Then you can based on your education choose different educations and the later different professions, those professions could be related to other players, for example teaching other players, or beeing a police officer or a firefighter.. Yeah well the idea is that the game is set in modern times..
Maybe this is a bad idea, or not well suited for a web-game but anyhow just an idea
