To go back to school or to not go back to school?

Hello,

I've been recently considering the idea of going back to school. I'm currently helping make a WW2 game for an independent game company but i feel that I don't have enough knowledge to land a job in a studio. I've attached a link to my game art portfolio. Would going back be worth it or should I just concentrate on building up my portfolio?

If going back is worth it does anyone have any advice on which schools I should be looking at? At the moment, VanArts and Think Tank Training Centre in Vancouver are two I've been strongly considering. I was looking at Art Institute of Vancouver but I've heard they have a terrible reputation in the game industry and that any school that doesn't require you to provide a portfolio should be avoided.

Thanks,
Mike
