Broken avatar or No avatar?
I've noticed a lot of users have a "broken avatar" image (see attached). Is that what we see when someone simply doesn't upload an avatar image? If so, I suggest we have a blank silhouette or something show up instead.

Here's a sample broken profile image, returns HTTP 404:

If you don't upload an avatar, you get what I have, a white outline of a person against a gradient grey/black.

I think, it happens when someone tried to set one, did not complete the process correctly and the forum software does not know to rollback to the previous or default.
