Or even a rotating Announcement of the Week. Basically, someone who has a game in-progress or finished can submit to have his/her game shown on the front page for a day or a week. An image with a title of the game and link to the thread. It can go right on side of the page where IOTD is. It'll give our indie developers on GD.net a little more exposure and it's for no more than a week.

I think this goes back to the broader topic of how to get the old IOTD system back up, and on the front page - that used to be our solution for placing announcements on the front page.

From past conversations, the primary blocker is not enough front page real estate (and we need to ads to actually pay for the site)...
