I'm not sure if a thing like that already exists but if not ...
Can *we* make a map where every developer (for example form GDNet) can tag there they are so we could more easily find other developers around us?
This would be very beneficial for small countries/states/town?

The IGDA is pretty good for meeting other gamedevs in your area too, if you're lucky enough to be in a big city with an active chapter...
Having a map as a feature of gamedev.net could be cool too. It could help people find other hobbyists in their area as well as indie studios and larger studios.
