If you''re basing your game partly on Christian philosophy, then C.S Lewis'' "The Great Divorce" is a short book well worth a read, especially in its description of suicides in hell. I''m _very_ sure that whoever wrote the script for the Robin Williams movie "What Dreams may come" has read it as well...
First, I'd like to say I enjoy all of the suggestions for reding about similar stories. However, my issue is not what to do with the story, or how to handle it well. I have worked on the history of Legends for a few years, so that's pretty much concrete.
I'm more interested in how YOU would act in this situation, just so I can see if my characters are acting realistically or not. But thanks for the suggestions. If I can get away from developing my engine, I may check it out.
